Leg Vein Removal

Unsightly and embarrassing leg veins are very common, especially in ladies. They are usually small red, blue or purple veins that commonly appear on the skin surface of thighs, calves and ankles.

They are formed due to pressure inside the vein wall, usually as a result of pregnancy or weight gain, prolonged standing or sitting, trauma, hormones or genetic predisposition. They are a common cause of aching, heaviness, itching or night cramps. Due to their appearance they can cause frustration and embarrassment for people who suffer from them and are, therefore, often removed for cosmetic reasons.

The laser shrinks the veins which then become invisible over a short period of time by using a light beam to seal off the vein. Normal activities can be resumed immediately after treatment.
